Structural features

Electric drive system: Convenient control and stable power
Drive unit configuration: The core is an integrated electric actuator, integrating a three-phase asynchronous motor (power 0.18kW-3kW, compatible with diameters of DN50-DN1200), planetary gears or worm gear reducers, with an output torque of 50N · m-2000N · m, which can smoothly drive the lifting and lowering of the gate plate. The actuator is equipped with an internal limit switch and torque protector. The control error for the fully open/fully closed position is ≤1.5mm. When the torque exceeds 1.2 times the rated value, it will automatically cut off the power to prevent the gate plate from over-squeezing the sealing parts or getting stuck, protecting the valve structure. ​
Operability and adaptability It supports dual modes of "local manual and remote control". Locally, emergency operation can be achieved through the handwheel built into the actuator. Remotely, it can be connected to the PLC/DCS system to realize opening degree adjustment (0%-100%), operation status feedback (such as switch position signal), and fault alarm (motor overload, power phase loss). It is suitable for scenarios such as municipal water supply and sewage treatment that require automatic control. The actuator protection grade is mostly IP65/IP67, which can resist the invasion of outdoor rain and dust, and is suitable for damp or open-air installation environments. ​
2. Core structure of elastic seat seal: A key design for low-pressure sealing
Sealing assembly design: The "gate plate elastic sealing ring" combination is adopted. The sealing ring is made of ethylene propylene diene monomer (EPDM) or nitrile rubber (NBR), and is fixed on the valve body sealing seat through vulcanization bonding or embedded fixation (for some models, the gate plate is covered with rubber). The cross-section of the sealing ring is "U-shaped" or "lip-shaped", with good elasticity. When closed, the gate plate presses down on the sealing ring to form a "surface seal". The sealing specific pressure is uniform, and the leakage is ≤0.01×DN mm³/s (conforming to the GB/T 13927 V-level zero leakage standard). It is suitable for non-corrosive low-pressure media such as water, clean water, and sewage. ​
Sealing compatibility features: EPDM sealing rings can withstand temperatures ranging from -40 ℃ to 120℃, are resistant to aging and ozone, and are suitable for long-term outdoor working conditions in municipal areas. NBR sealing rings are oil-resistant and weakly alkali resistant, and are suitable for industrial wastewater containing a small amount of oil stains. The sealing ring and the valve body sealing seat adopt an interference fit, which can compensate for the slight deformation of the valve body or gate plate. After long-term use, the sealing ring is not easy to shift, and the rubber material is soft, avoiding the wear problem of metal hard seals and extending the sealing life. ​
3. Valve body and gate structure: Optimized for elastic sealing
Valve body design: Made of ductile iron QT450-10 or gray cast iron HT200 through integral casting, the flow channel is straight-through type, and the inner wall is smooth (roughness Ra≤1.6μm), reducing medium resistance and impurity deposition. Flange connection complies with GB/T 9119 or ANSI B16.5 standards. The sealing surface is a raised face (RF), compatible with PN10/PN16 pressure grades. The number of bolt holes matches the diameter of the hole (for example, for DN300 PN16 model, 12 φ23mm bolt holes are set), ensuring precise connection with the pipe flange. Easy to install. ​
Gate structure: It adopts parallel or wedge (small diameter) design, with materials of ductile iron QT450-10 (surface plastic spraying for anti-corrosion) or stainless steel 304 (corrosion resistance requirement). A guide block is set at the bottom of the gate. When lifting and lowering, it slides along the guide groove of the valve body to prevent the gate from shifting and causing sealing misalignment. The gate plate and the valve stem are connected through T-slots or keys, with a fit clearance of no more than 0.1mm, ensuring that the gate plate rises and falls synchronously when electrically driven and precisely presses the sealing ring when closed. ​
4. Valve stem and packing seal: leak-proof and durable design
Valve stem structure: It adopts a exposed stem design (distinguished from concealed stem), with the valve stem rising and setting synchronously with the gate plate. The material is 2Cr13 stainless steel or 304 stainless steel, and the surface is chrome-plated (hardness HV≥600), which is wear-resistant and rust-resistant. The top of the valve stem is connected to the output shaft of the electric actuator reducer through splines or square heads, featuring high transmission efficiency and no risk of slippage. ​
Packing seal design: Multiple layers of flexible graphite PTFE combined packing are set between the valve stem and the valve body. The packing box is tightened by cover bolts, which can effectively prevent the medium from leaking along the valve stem. The packing has a certain degree of elasticity and can adaptively seal with the rise and fall of the valve stem, eliminating the need for frequent adjustment of the gland. Moreover, the PTFE material has a low coefficient of friction, reducing the wear of the valve stem and making it suitable for conditions where the gate is frequently opened and closed (such as pressure stabilization control at the pump outlet). ​
5. Structural differences adapted to working conditions: Customized details as needed
Municipal water supply conditions (DN500-DN1200) : The valve body is made of ductile iron QT450-10, the gate plate is powder-coated for anti-corrosion, with EPDM sealing rings. The actuator is equipped with a high-torque reducer, suitable for PN10 pressure, meeting the requirements of large flow transportation and remote control of urban main pipelines. ​
For sewage treatment conditions (DN100-DN600) : The inner wall of the valve body is coated with epoxy resin anti-corrosion coating to prevent impurities in the sewage from adhering. The sealing ring is made of anti-pollution EPDM. The bottom of the valve stem is equipped with an anti-clogging guide sleeve to prevent silt from getting stuck on the gate plate. It is suitable for PN10/PN16 pressure and temperature range of -20 ℃ to 80℃. ​
Industrial circulating water conditions (DN50-DN300) : The valve body and gate plate are made of stainless steel 304, the NBR sealing ring is oil-resistant, and the actuator is equipped with an intelligent temperature control module, which is suitable for intermittent opening and closing and medium pressure (PN16) requirements of the circulating water system.
