  Structure and Composition

The signal worm gear head mainly consists of the following parts:

Worm gear mechanism : The worm is rotated via a handwheel or wrench, driving the worm gear and valve stem to rotate, achieving valve opening and closing.

Position indicator : A mechanical pointer or dial indicating the valve opening (e.g., 0°~90°).

Signal feedback device ：

Microswitch (Common): The switch is triggered when the valve reaches the fully open/fully closed position, outputting an electrical signal (passive dry contact or voltage signal).

Potentiometer or encoder : Continuously feeds back the valve opening (analog or digital signal).

Protective housing : Usually made of aluminum alloy or cast iron, dustproof and waterproof (IP65/IP67 rating).
