1. Structure and Composition of the Worm Gear Head
The worm gear head is mainly composed of the following components:
(1) Worm gear transmission mechanism
Worm Shaft: Input shaft, connected to the handwheel or electric actuator, drives the worm gear when rotated.
Worm Gear: Output shaft, connected to the valve stem, converting rotational motion into the valve's on/off action.
Transmission Ratio: Typically 20:1~100:1, providing high torque output for easier operation.
